joined Parent/Child Incorporated (PCI) on June 27, 1979 as a clerk typist in the Purchasing Department and promoted to Procurement Manager, before serving in Public Relations. She later worked in the Head Start Director’s Office as the office coordinator where she assisted the director with the policy council, and eventually managing the operations of the office and assisting with administrative aspects of the center operations component. Mrs. Bedoy was transferred to the Executive Director’s office as the Executive Secretary where she worked with the first level executives, the board of directors, provided training to clerical staff, assisted with preparation of proposals and all tasks associated with managing the office and has since been promoted to Office Manager/Executive Secretary where she continues to work in the Chief Executive Officer/HS/EHS Director’s Office. Mrs. Bedoy has been a member of the Texas Head Start Association since 1992 and has served on their board of directors as a Secretary and served on the scholarship and finance committees. She also served as an alternate of the Region VI Head Start Association’s board of directors representing the State of Texas and is also a member of the National Head Start Association. Mrs. Bedoy has served on other various committees throughout the years including conference-planning committees. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, Mrs. Bedoy and her husband George have been married for 33 years with three children and seven grandchildren.

serves as the Human Resources Specialist for Parent/Child Incorporated since August 20, 1979 where she started as the Human Resources Clerk. Ms. Vogt is responsible for monitoring local and federal policies that directly impact the Human Resources Department. Ms. Vogt attended Wayland Baptist University where she studied in Human Resources Management. Ms. Vogt has more than 34 years of experience in Human Services. Over the years, she has received numerous accolades for her work ethics and customer service skills.Ms. Vogt was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and is a graduate of Edgewood High School. Ms. Vogt has been married to George Vogt for 35 years and has three (3) children; all who were Head Start children which include a daughter who has served 14 years in the United States Marine Corp. She also has six (6) wonderful grandchildren, two who are currently attending Early Head Start and one who is a former Head Start child.

joined Parent/child Incorporated in August 1979. Mrs. Lopez started as a Pre-K teacher and was promoted to various positions in the company. Presently, Mrs. Lopez oversee the Education and Training Department as an Education Coordinator under the Leadership of Dr. Sharon Small. Mrs. Lopez’s primary responsibilities is planning training needs for all staff as mandated for Head Start performance Standard and Minimum Standards, including to ensure Head Start/Early Head Start implement curriculum fidelity in each classroom. Mrs. Lopez is an active member of Texas Head Start Association and the National Black Child Development Institute. She graduated from Wayland University in 2004, with a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Lopez is a native of San Antonio and graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School. She is an active member of Compassion Christian Church where she currently volunteers as the Sunday School Director and Youth Camp Counselor. In addition, Mrs. Lopez is a Professional Development Specialist (PD) for the CDA Council and is a First Aid/CPR Instructor for American Heart Association. Mrs. Lopez and her husband, Daniel Lopez, a sales consultant, have been married 39 years and have two sons Daniel and Steven who both work in the food industry as chefs.

During his career with PCI Mr. Segura started as a Head Start father and held various positions such as Family Service Worker, Health Services Coordinator, Adjunct Services Director to currently Compliance Officer. Mr. Segura also served as a Federal Head Start Reviewer. Mr. Segura is also a Head Start ERSEA and Family Engagement Credential Trainer.As a Compliance Officer, Mr. Segura works in establishing a monitoring protocol that meets local, state and federal guidelines. He ensures that all PCI facilities are safe and environmentally healthy for children, families and staff. Also, Mr. Segura oversees the CACFP Food Program and Transportation Services. Mr. Segura is a lifelong resident of San Antonio, graduated from Edgewood High School, received his Associate degree from St. Philips College and is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Education.

joined Parent/Child Incorporated (PCI) in November 1987. Mrs. Doxie was promoted in 1997, to Head Start/Early Head Start Coordinator. Mrs. Doxie’s primary responsibilities include supervising the Operations Department, which consist of the daily operations of the Early Learning Center and ensures all Early Learning Centers are meeting Federal and State guidelines, including Health, ERSEA and Family Engagement services, Mrs. Doxie has held various positions within PCI such as Day Home Monitor, Family Service Worker, Agency Monitor. She serves on the board of the Texas Head Start Association (THSA), a member of the National Head Start Association, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI). Prior to joining PCI, Mrs. Doxie worked with the City of San Antonio as a data entry clerk, and the Hilton Hotel as a Front Office Manager as well as worked at several federal agencies including the Veterans Administration and the Social Security Department. She graduated from Wayland University in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Education. Mrs. Doxie is a native of Chillicothe, Ohio and graduated from Huntington High School. Over the years, she has received employee of the year at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio, Employee of the month at the Ohio Social Security Office for her work ethic. Mrs. Doxie is an active member at the Refuge Church of our Lord, where she currently volunteers in the Marriage Ministry department. Mrs. Doxie and her husband, retired San Antonio Police Officer for the City of San Antonio, Mr. Phillip Doxie, have been married for 20 years and share two children Phillip Doxie and Manika Glass, including three wonderful grandchildren.

is a native San Antonian, who has devoted her career working in the non-profit human services field. She has over 30 years of financial management experience. As the Fiscal Manager she is responsible for the financial leadership of the agency. McGarity-Diaz previously served on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of the Incarnate Word.

joined Parent/Child Incorporated (PCI) in September 1995 as a Day Care Homes Monitor. Mrs. Castillo has worked in various departments within PCI to include Compliance Monitoring. She is a member of TX CACFP Sponsor Association and National CACFP Sponsor Association, participates in the Institute of Child Nutrition and Region 20 CACFP. Mrs. Castillo's years of experience and dedication to PCI was recognized in August 2015, she was promoted to CACFP Nutrition Services Manager. Mrs. Castillo oversees all operations of the Child and Adult Care Food Program which includes Day Care Homes and PCI Early Learning Centers, partnerships and local childcare centers in the San Antonio & Bexar County area. Mrs. Castillo duties also include managing the CACFP Drivers and meal transportation. Mrs. Castillo has over 40+ years of experience working in non-profit organizations. She is a proud product of the Edgewood Independent School District system graduating from Memorial High School. She furthered her education and received a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from the University of Incarnate Word.
