Remember September 11, 2001
On this day, we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the families whose loved ones were taken too soon. We also recognize the extraordinary courage of first responders, service members, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated selfless bravery in the face of unimaginable danger. Their legacy reminds us of the strength and resilience that unite us as a people. Though the memory of that day brings sorrow, it also calls us to reflect on the values of compassion, unity, and service to others. In the midst of tragedy, communities across our nation came together with love and resolve. That spirit of togetherness continues to inspire us today. As we go about our work and our lives, let us carry forward the lessons of 9/11—cherishing our loved ones, supporting one another, and building a world rooted in peace and understanding.
