CEO MESSAGE - February 2026!
Greetings, All,
Well, I’m sure you know by now that today is Groundhog Day and the famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow—so six more weeks of winter! That may be good news for some, but for others… brrrrr! February is a month filled with significant milestones and celebrations, including PCI’s 47th Anniversary, the FA2 Federal Monitoring Review and CLASS, Black History Month, Staff Recognitions, Groundhog Day, Dual Language Learners Week, Valentine’s Day, the 100th Day of School, Champions for Charity, and PCI Rodeo Day. These events offer wonderful opportunities to celebrate our achievements and the outstanding work of our team. Our FA2 Federal Monitoring Review begins tomorrow, so we are looking forward to a busy—but awesome—week. If you see unfamiliar faces visiting your center, please do not panic. Reviewers will be observing classrooms and the overall center environment.
Please remain on schedule, actively engage with the children, know how many children are in your care and where they are at all times, and continue to prioritize health and safety (handwashing, etc.). While it is a busy week, it is also our opportunity to showcase the high-quality program PCI provides.
Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
