I hope you stay safe and warm as we go through freezing weather. Cold, but not dangerous enough to close centers and schools, though I know some of you wanted to stay home and build a snowman! Here’s a bit of trivia for you…

Did you know that today is National Fig Newton Day? Love 'em or hate 'em, Fig Newtons have been around since the first ones came out of the oven at the FA Kennedy Steam Bakery in the late 1800s. Back then, many doctors believed most illnesses were related to digestion problems, so they recommended a daily intake of biscuits and fruit, and Fig Newtons seemed to be the ideal solution. I wonder, will that work today???
